How do I request the location of the NeosGuard X device?
The device's location can be requested by sending the device an SMS message with the following text:
psw:1234;fix?
and the device will send, to the requester's mobile phone, an SMS message containing a Google-maps link with the last position stored in it.
How do I stop ringing calls?
There are many ways to stop cyclic calls, in addition to the method seen in point 4 of the FAQ
For all versions
During the conversation and/or the alarm call with the device, you can type the code #4231 on your phone's keypad, after which the call will automatically end. If by chance the call does not end, because the code has not been received correctly by the device, you must repeat the code #4231 on your phone's keypad. If this code is not typed, the device will behave normally based on the configurations performed. The code #4231, only for the Neosguard X PRO and ADVANCED versions, can also be changed by the user and customized when configuring the device.
Only for the Neosguard X PRO and ADVANCED versions is it also possible to stop cyclic calls, and the subsequent numbers set are not called, when you answer the emergency call and the conversation lasts longer than that set in the configuration (minimum default conversation time is 30 seconds). The device will stop the cyclic calls, having considered the conversation as valid. Otherwise the device will not consider it valid, and will continue to call the numbers set during configuration.
How do I stop the alarm SMS that NeosGuard X sends to the set numbers?
To stop sending alarm SMS before the expiration set as “Alarm duration”, which in the default configuration is 600 sec., simply send the device an SMS from your mobile phone with the following text:
psw:1234;alarm off
In this way the device will stop sending alarm SMS to the set numbers.
The device, if the message has been written correctly, will respond with a confirmation message.
How long does the NeosGuard X battery last?
Battery life depends on usage and configuration. For example, whether GPS is activated or not, or how many text messages or calls are made per day. It is good practice to charge it at the end of each shift in case of business use or in the evening before going to sleep, in case of home use.
How to turn off the device?
To turn off the device, you need to hold down the button identified with the red handset until the battery LED (the first from the left) changes from green to red.
The battery LED sequence will be this: by pressing the button with the red handset, the battery LED will turn green, then it will turn off and then it will turn red. At this point you can release the button, held down for the entire time, and the device will turn off after a few seconds.
